Burning Alive of dacoits incidents in Karachi

In the last week two incidents of burning of dacoits to death have
been occurred in which the dacoits trying to loot the people were
captured by the public and then burnt alive on the road in front of
hundreds of peoples. No one tried to rescue them or tried to cool
down the mob and advise the mob to hand over those dacoits to
Police.

These are very horrible and sad incidents and convey very ugly
image of our society to rest of the world. There is a very
important message hidden behind these incidents for the rulers of
this country who are living in a self made luxurious paradise with
their own ideology and priorities nothing to do with the miseries
of the common man (Awam). The politicians mostly from the said
ruling and elite class talk a lot about a common man (awam) and
describe them as the ruler of Pakistan. But the life this ruler of
Pakistan is living is a very shameful, full of humiliation, miseries
and tension. These incidents indicate that how the people of Pakistan
feel about the institutions responsible for their safety and security.

The media especially news channels which has emerged as a great
social power since last 4 or 5 years might have been the best way to
change the society and in the era of current information technology
may play a very characteristic and positive role for the betterment
of society and minimize the suffering of a common man. But,
unfortunately, most of the representatives of this media (almost
95% of the journalists and anchormen) have selected the role of
paid employees of the politicians from the ruling class. Hence the
abilities and the chances Almighty have blessed them to use for the
betterment of mankind and change the condition of middle and lower
class are used in tightening the ironic grip of this elite class on the
common man more mercilessly.

Instead of analyzing these serious incidents very honestly and
objectively an anchorman was trying to argue that the reason behind
these incidents is the delay in restoration of judges and as soon as
the judges are restored it would be OK. Another anchorman who has
reservations against Karachi people was very wickedly trying to point
towards certain political forces of this city. These anchormen very
cleverly, invite strong debaters of their investing parties and week
personalities of their opponents to establish the point of view of their
investors in the mind of masses.

The actual reason behind these incidents is that the police and
judiciary have become so corrupt that these two institutions have
become the partners of criminals. Police, practically, is looting the
public with the help of these criminals instead of providing security
to the general public. When the dacoits invade any house, the police
always is behind them as the second line of defense for dacoits. If
anything goes wrong during the operation, police comes to rescue
the dacoits and takes charge of them and tells the public that the
culprits would be dealt with ironic hands. The dacoits captured are
carried to police station and after a cup of tea are released for the
new venture.

The corruption of Judiciary is equally horrible. Most of the
criminals are set free on Police station level. The criminals
who could not deal with the police due to any reason are brought
to courts. The criminals with the strong financial position get out
of this mess very easily with the help of lawyers. It is believed that
a successful lawyer is the person with a solid and comprehensive
knowledge of law, his ability to present his case and convince the
court and his faith to fight for truth. On the contrary the only ability
of a successful lawyer in our country is to attain the faith of
maximum judges. In other words the lawyer is only a mean of
a safe transfer of money between a judge and the criminals.
After some hearings the case is decided in the favor of the party
whose lawyer can bribe the judge more effectively. This is the case
from the lower court to the Supreme Court. So much so that the
fee of a supreme court judge to allot the date comprises between
Rs. 2 lakh to 5 lakh according to the nature of the case. Almost all
the judges of the supreme court including the “Mazoor” judges
enjoy this facility.

People of Karachi being more educated and rational and more aware
of the situation understand very well that the dacoits captured by the
public ( not the police) would be set free at the police station or if any
honest policeman ( which is very rare) registered a case would be set
free due to the blessing of our lawyers and judiciary. So they have
decided to act the role of police and judiciary themselves. They are
so sick and irritated now due to the corrupt Institutions that they have
forgotten all the moral, legal, religious values. Now it is the duty of
our honest intellectuals and psychiatrists to think over this situation
and suggest the remedies to the government. And it is also in the favor
of our ruling class to realize the situation and take certain positive
steps to avoid themselves being in the place of dacoits in the near future.
